Our Annual Spring dinner was enjoyed by many museum members, neighbors from Prattsville and area and many guests from out of town.  Enjoy the superb cooking, service and fine wines provided by the Friends of Pratt Museum.  Seating is limited.  Please contact the Pratt Museum at 518-299-3395 for information and reservation.

 Spring Fling 2000

Spring Fling Dance      Pratt Museum Friends Event
Friends of the Zadock Pratt Museum in Prattsville will hold their third Annual Spring Fling dance at the Windham Arms.  "The Avalons", a big band sound, will play for dancing or listening pleasure again this year.  

Assorted cheeses, crackers and fruit will be served.  Cash bar.  Last year, this was a well-attended fundraiser for the Pratt Museum.  Co-chaipersons of the dance: Patricia Reineke, Marianne Neuber, Elinor Lange.

with a special exhibit by Marianne Neuber:  "Prattsville Photo Album: Historic Photographs of People and Places in the Area".  Over 200 photographs taken by local residents will be on display.

An Exhibit of Community Photographs at the Pratt Museum
"A rare and unique glimpse into the history of our area ..." wrote the Mountain Eagle newspaper in May 2001. 
The Pratt Museum's main exhibit for 2001 features photo documentary of life in Prattsville in the last hundred years.

Over 200 photographs taken by local residents are on display.  See more details ...

Golf Tournament      Pratt Museum Friends Event
This third annual event was held at Christman's Golf Course.  $45 per person (Pre-registration $40) included green fees, carts and lunch.  Proceeds donated for Improvements of the Zadock Pratt Museum.

Prattsville Rodeo - 2nd year - Top National Cowboys, Trick Show, Rodeo Clowns, Parade, sponsored by the Prattsville Chamber of Commerce Rodeo was held at Conine Field in Prattsville.

Clog dancers will be performing in Prattsville

10th Annual Old Prattsville Day on the Prattsville Commons will be an action-packed day well worth visiting for all the activities, rides, dancing, ... Friends of the Pratt Museum will hold the annual Silent Auction, in which dozens of valuable items will be sold to benefit the museum.   Jim Young, of the Prattsville Chamber of Commerce says "Please plan to come and visit us this year for a nice get-together".  
  • Church services at 11 a.m.
  • Join us for an old fashioned picnic.  Bring a covered dish, if you can, please. 
    The Prattsville Chamber of Commerce will be providing free hamburgers, hot dogs & sausages.

5th Annual Progressive Dinner - Pratt Museum Friends EventThis year's dinner was going to have an International Flavor.  The Progressive dinner was canceled this Fall, following the September 11 events in New York City and Washington, D.C.  Please join us again next Fall.
  • 5:30 p.m.  - Beautiful gardens of Bob & Joanne Dunphy, Lower Maple Lane, Prattsville. - Hours d'ouevres, prepared by Jeanette Orlando, chef at Mill Brook, Windham

Annual Holiday Open House  "Light up the Holidays"
The 21st annual holiday open house at the Zadock Pratt Museum. FREE ADMISSION. 

Pratt Museum ornament on this year's White House Christmas Tree!  Master craftsman Howard Bartholomew was chosen by Governor Pataki's office to be one of four New Yorkl State artists to create an ornament for the White House Christmas Tree.  Mr. Bartholomew chose the Pratt Homestead and will present a replica ornament to the Museum December 7th at 8 p.m.  This miniature representation of the Zadock Pratt Homestead will be on display throughout the weekend, and will become part of our permanent collection.

This holiday season, the Pratt Museum pays a special tribute to our men and women in uniform.  Featuring uniforms and memorabilia from the Armed Forces, New York City Police, New York City Fire Department, the Medical Profession, the Boy Scouts, the Conservation Department and the ROTC.

Please come and join us for a tour of each festively decorated rooms, which includes "Peace on Earth" storybook trees from the Gilboa Conesville Elementary School.  Refreshments will be served with Santa in the "Carriage House Canteen".
