October 24 Pratt Museum Fall Candlelight Dinner.   
October 17 Victorian Tea, held at the Friedrich House, home of Paul & Penny Friedrich, on Main Street, Prattsville.  For information and directions, contact Alice Rowan at 518-299-3317
October 9 - 11 Ye Olde Country Fair - Prattsville  Main Street Carnival, rides, bake sales, yard sales, bossie bingo, dunking booth, Esperance Brass Band, team dance with a DJ, judging of home-made cakes, pies, pickles, jams, jellies, relishes, salsa; scarecrow contest & much more.

September 12 "Progressive dinner"
Each dinner course at a different house in Prattsville and  evening with a coffee and desert by the waterfalls.

Two hundred years of the Reformed Dutch Church of Prattsville

The Reformed Dutch Church is the oldest church on the Mountaintop of Greene county, founded ca. 1798. 

The special exhibit, guest curated by church members, featured the history of this unique institution through the use of artifacts and text.

4th Annual 18th Century Encampment.  Prattsville Militia Days.   We will hold this again in 1999.  Review the 1998 event photos.  Revolutionary war militia encampment.  Visitors had a chance to relive Catskills history in  historical events re-enactments.  Revolutionary war militia, the 15th Albany Regiment was involved in a military skirmish with British colonial troops and Indians.   The Settlers' Camps on museum grounds:  

Committee of Safety Meeting, Indentured Servants Sale, Period Games, Military Skirmish, 18th Century Musical Ensemble.

August 8 Museum Summer Dinner  Guests and members of the museum, locals and visitor had  a romantic dinner by the floodlit Huntersfield waterfalls.
September 12 "Progressive dinner"... 50+ people enjoyed each dinner course at a different house in Prattsville and end the evening with a coffee and desert by the waterfalls.
October 17 Victorian Tea, held at the Friedrich House, home of Paul & Penny Friedrich, on Main Street, Prattsville.  
October 24 Pratt Museum Fall Candlelight Dinner.   Book early !
December 11-13, 1998visit us at Christmas Annual Museum Christmas Open House.    

All rooms in the Museum were decorated for Christmas:  Santa Claus visited us in his Carriage House Workshop. We had carolers, Christmas trees, and free refreshments for all.

This year, the Museum has chosen "Ring in the Season" as its holiday theme.   

The Open House took place December 11-13.  Dec 11: 6 - 9 p.m.    Dec 12: Noon - 9 p.m. Dec 13: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.  
Gilboa-Conesville Elementary School has chosen "Habitat" as its "storybook" theme.
