Indo – Chinese

Indian Chinese cuisine, also known as Sino-Ludhiana Cuisine, is the adaptation of Chinese seasoning and cooking techniques to Indian tastes.

More and more Indo-Chinese Restaurants are opening up all over Manhattan and other parts of the US. Indian-style Chinese food is the best kind of fusion - cuisine that arises when two cultures are crammed together in one space. India has one Chinatown - Tangra in Calcutta; the Chinese, world travelers that they are, have been in India for more than a century. And of course, they got hungry and opened restaurants, using local ingredients and adjusting flavors to reflect the local palate.

Gobi Manchurian:  Cauliflower Fritters in spicy sweet and sour sauce, Chicken Manchurian: one of the Indo-Chinese dishes, it’s really easy to cook and tastes simply superb spiced up with Indian seasonings and Chinese cooking style. Gobi Manchurian and Chicken Manchurian fall into this category.  A delicious blend of Indo- Chinese cooking, which has been Indianized.  These kinds of dishes are found only in Indian restaurants.
