
The
North End of Boston, where we stayed in two apartments over a few days, is
Italian. On our street, there was a sign pointing to Sorrento, toward
the Pompei restaurant, which is just pasthe "Connah Store". That would

On our beautiful first morning in Boston, we met with
the other Cernikovskys. Jana and Josef droved down from Boston for the
weekend and rented another apartment a few blocks from ours. We had
lunch, dinner, breakfast and walked for a day and a half along the Freedom

Paul
Revere rides to warn the patriots that the British are on the march ... and
behind him, the Old North Church, where the deacon lit lights in the steeple
to relay the same warning.

In little
Italy, we ran into a procession on Hanover Street ... the saint was
collecting lots of money from Italian shops along the procession route.

few days in our apartment, we had to move back to one behind an Italian
restaurant. The walk took us past Paul Revere again.

Boston Fine Arts Museum has a good collection of Guatemalan Maya pottery, a
lot of Impressionist paitings and a very nice restaurant. Click for a larger

young audience standing and clapping. Boston was fun. |
