The North End of Boston, where we stayed in two apartments over a few days, is Italian.  On our street, there was a sign pointing to Sorrento, toward the Pompei restaurant, which is just pasthe "Connah Store".  That would be "Corner Store" in other cities.  Click for an even larger image.

On our beautiful first morning in Boston, we met with the other Cernikovskys.  Jana and Josef droved down from Boston for the weekend and rented another apartment a few blocks from ours.  We had lunch, dinner, breakfast and walked for a day and a half along the Freedom Trail ... Click for an even larger image.

In little Italy, we ran into a procession on Hanover Street ... the saint was collecting lots of money from Italian shops along the procession route.  Click for a larger image.

Boston Fine Arts Museum has a good collection of Guatemalan Maya pottery, a lot of Impressionist paitings and a very nice restaurant. Click for a larger image.

... a Rolling Stones concert ("50 + counting") in the packed TD Center.  Click for a larger image

... Mick Jagger and his friends kept up the pace the whole night, keeping the mostly young audience standing and clapping.  Boston was fun.
