PERU TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2011/2012 (Groups : 5+ Rooms) 1- Reservations All applications for reservations are to be made by way of e-mail or facsimileaddressed to Orient-Express Tours Peru. No reservation will be deemed made unless acknowledged and accepted inwriting by Orient-Express Tours Peru- which will respond to all reservation applications as speedily as possible. Provisional reservations can be held for max. 7 working days only. Full names (as per passport), to be supplied 90 days prior to arrival, latest.Orient-Express Peru will not be held liable for costs for incorrectly spelt names. Please forward us the completed guest registration forms latest 90 days in advance. Any special request, such as connecting rooms, bedding and special dietary should be included in form, we will make every effort to secure them, however some special requests cannot be guaranteed in advance. 2- Payment Terms: No tour or reservation is guaranteed until a deposit payment is made against arrangements being held. Orient-Express Tours Peru reserves the right to release arrangements not secured by a deposit payment. Payment shall be made as follows: 20% deposit upon acceptance of proposal. 80% (full payment), will be due not less than 60 days prior to passengersarrival. Where the reservation is made 75 or less days before arrival date, full prepaymentis due upon confirmation of the reservations. Please note Orient-Express Peru is not liable or responsible for bank charges incurred by an Individual, agent or tour operator. Tours Av. At this time, we can still hold 20% of total passengers as ´no name´. - 60 Days prior to passengers arrival, Final Rooming List is required. Hotels do not accept change of names/group reductions 60 or less days prior to passengers arrival, it will be considered as no-show. 4- Payment Options Bank transferACCOUNT NAME: Peru Orient Express Experiences S.A. These are processed in the US, guaranteeing that no exchange rate fluctuations affect payments. Should you send a direct bank transfer please fax or e-mail the bank stamped wire transfer form to Orient-Express Peru office. 5- Cancellations Cancellation of bookings must be in writing and are only effective on receipt of this. If written notification is received 91 days + prior to passengers arrival then a nominal charge of US$100.00perperson will be incurred. 90 to 61 days prior to passengers arrival, the 20% deposit is forfeited. 60 days or less prior to arrival, 100% of the total value of the reservation willbe forfeited. Should passengers decide to cancell the trip before its completion, no refundcan be made. Please note that our normal cancellation policy will apply should you fail to start your trip due to airline delays, missed connections or cancellations of flights. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance for this purpose. Tours Av. Alcanfores 775- Miraflores, Lima 18 – Perú Teléfono: (51-1) 612-6700 Fax: (51-1) 445-0414 www.peruexperiences.com Important Notes: - In some instances, third party services, hotels and ground handlers have different/stricter cancellation fees –and where applicable, we will advise you of these at time of reservation. 6- Insurance We strongly recommend travel insurance coverage to protect against trip curtailment, cancellation, default, lost baggage, and emergency evacuation and medical costs, incurred for the duration of your stay. Where Orient-Express Peru is acting as a broker for third party reservations, the company cannot be held liable for cancellation charges pertaining to curtailment, defaults or supplier amendments. We will naturally endeavour to assist in these unlikely events. 7- Refunds Refunds are not made for any missed services, except for extenuating circumstances, and this will only be authorised subject to Management’s discretion, and may only be paid when the refund has been received by Peru Orient-Express from the Third Party supplier concerned. 8- Flights Peru Orient-Express is not liable for any regional, local or international flight schedule changes or cancellations. Please ensure you are fully insured against airline defaults as full cancellation fees may be levied. 9- Assistance during your journey Should you incur a problem during your journey, please contact us (Lima / Cusco Orient-Express Peru representative) immediately in order for us to be of assistance. We are unable to help or rectify the matter once you have returned home. 10- General Orient Express Peru is not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, death, delay or inconvenience occasioned by or resulting from acts of God, force majeure, acts of war or civil unrest, strikes, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind. Passengers release Orient Express Peru from its own negligence and assume all risk in case of incidents resulting from adventure activities, such as rafting, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, paraglading, rock climbing, etc. Payment of your deposit secures your planned program and represents an acceptance of the above recited terms and conditions Detailed itinerary:
